Back when Jim Carrey was still professionally “James Carrey,” Jamie Foxx was an ugly chick, and Jennifer Lopez was a background dancer with the Fly Girls. All this on the same show with every gitdim Wayans kid. Yep, much like cars, the 22-Years Rule applies.

Dude, we’re as close to 1994 as were ever going to get without a time machine. National conversations about police brutality, highwaisted denim shorts, republicans losing their minds about a Clinton presidency, Mark Summers hosting Double Dare...
Just find an Ace of Base CD and boom. 90's.

Not to mention everyone is playing pokemon, a Power Rangers movie is on the way, and I heard that Surge came back.

Free trials of AOL and Netzero coming in the mail were the only chances you got to mess up a CD by using it as a frizbee, traffic blinder, or microwave turn table destroyer.

We used to mix in Bacardi with Surge and called it the “Power Surge.”

I miss the 80s. It’s pretty strange to be nostalgic for the Cold War. But at least we knew who our enemy was.

I’m just gonna crank the Pearl Jam and Nirvana today, like I do everyday.

As someone who remembers 1992, it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. Namely in that the internet was still just coming around and was largely useless. Try to download anything on a 14.4 connection. I was still using a 56kbps in college, which was incrementally better, but still horrid.
I suppose I could point out that crime was significantly worse in '92 also, but that's getting a bit deep for the post.
